Who is the person/expert on my field that I admire?

I admire Suzane Simard a lot!  She grew up in Canadian forests as a descendent of loggers becoming a forest ecology. She is a teacher of forest ecology at the University of British Columbia. Suzane has spent the last four decades, with experiments and rigorous studies, understanding how trees talk each other. She has discovered that they are part of a community that supports each other, sharing resources with parents and strangers who are in need. With his work, I change the way I see forest.  I like here since I see his "TED Talk", where she explain the comunication between trees.  I also admire her for all the dedication in her research for years on the communication between trees and other equally interesting related to the forests of California, also that she is a fun and anecdotal person that makes her an inspiring person in the field of science.
